    - -Both among my favs, but it has to be noted there is a 5 yr overlap in their careers where Marv has been spinning his wheels trying gain traction.

With a tremendously great champ in front of him, most true greats would be ready for Carlos within 3-5 yrs.

Not to diminish Marv in any way. In the end the greats can only do it their way and Marv proved great enough for most.

Ray Robinson might be able to out-point Hagler in a 12 rounder

Harry Greb might have been able to beat all of them. Why? Because he had an iron chin (never knocked out in 298 fights) and a relentless, awkward style. He routinely wrecked guys much bigger and stronger than himself.
Monzon and hamsho similar styles???What kind of crack are you smoking ?Hamsho was a lefty who rough housed and brawled and head butted along with a jab that at best was a range finder.

We'll Monzon schooled a prime Briscoe in the 2nd fight and Hagler had a rough match against a washed up Briscoe. Triangle theories don't work, but for those saying Hagler wins easily are mistaken.

If they both went at it prime for prime it would be a very very tough match, I would actually pick Monzon, he fought better comp and Hagler tended to almost choke in a bit when the lights were too hot. He would fight cautious and turn into a boxer like against Duran and Leonard. Monzon is from the same cloth of confidence as those 2.

Monzon is actually a slickster with a rough crude street fighting self taught edge to him
