I think Dempsey gets an early KO he had the power and the speed to get to Haye. And Haye dont have the gas tank for a long hard Manassa Mauler fight. That said i think it is worth talking about. Haye has serious power himself and Dempsey was hurtable, He is also one of the faster HW's there's been. Haye moves well too and Dempsey could also be outboxed. Jack Dempsey was a great great fighter and one of my favourite Heavys but he was just a mortal

I really don't like Haye, but this would be a mismatch and an easy victory for Haye.
I haven't watched too many Dempsey's fights (mainly what I was able to find on yt).
But with those clips that I was able to find I think that any fighter that fought 80 years ago against Haye would be a mismatch.
Boxing, same as any sport, has developed over the years. Majority of the boxers back then did boxing as a part time thing.I like old legends too, but lets be real. Haye is faster, stronger and bigger than most of those fighters.Last edited by Simurgh; 06-06-2013, 04:42 PM.

If Haye gets stopped by Carl Thompson, he gets crushed by Jack Dempsey. Haye looked like crap against Valuev and was frightened of Klitschko. He would go into shock when Dempsey stepped to him.

Please watch this and tell me do you seriously think that Dempsey would have beat any of today's top10 HW, not to mention Haye.
This is not to take anything from Jack. He was a great champion, but I do expect that in 2100 boxing is much more advance than it is now...
