      Gladly agreed, as far as I know most people rate Burley higher but I don't see it that way.

        Great topic.

        I think it's debatable, I'm going solely off the top of my head but both have top calibur ATG resumes.

          It's definitely close I'd probably side with Williams although Burley was a lot more consistent, both have ATG resumes, hard too split them imo.

            I was swayed toward williams because on his bio on boxrec it mentioned he faced many a great fighter with bad hands and had decent power before his injuries but there is no wrong choice on this topic as both fellows were amazing fighters.

              Holman's is probably SLIGHTLY more impressive. Everybody in and around boxing has at least heard of Burley if they dont know him inside out but only a small portion of fans even acknowledge the EXISTENCE of Williams! Shame...

                I've read that Holman Williams was very influential in the development of both Joe Louis and Eddie Futch.
