That fight took place in Nunn's hometown (Davenport, Iowa) and he enjoyed his celebrity status there more than he trained. Big mistake to fight there because Nunn never recaptured his prime after that. Fighters returning to their hometowns to fight can be very treacherous. Holyfield almost got KO'd by f'n Bert Cooper in Atlanta.
