Well...Ras (aka Liv) beat Bog in 1981 and ****** Boom in 1984 and 1985.

So...that makes it interesting...which of these guys would win if they faced each other, both having good KO's against most everyone but Bramble.

Plus it would've been a test for the boxing announcer: "A jab from Boom Boom...a counter from **** ****...ohhh, they landed at the same time on that last exchange of a looping left and a straight right, Whop-bop-a-loop-**** BOOM!"

      Fair enough!

The night of the Bogner fight Bramble had himself introduced as Livingstone "Bam Bam" Bramble.

So we could have had a round robin: Boom Boom v Bam Bam v **** ****!

Bramble always had a dry wit; most of the nonsense he displayed during the Mancini fights was just that, nonsense.

His infamous Voo-Doo doctor was his high school basketball coach.

So Bramble was a very good fighter AND a funny guy. He should be better remembered.

                  - -They were scheduled to fight until Paul made his fateful decision to ride his motorcycle on the wrong day.

                  Terrible injustice by The Fates.

                    Yup! Very sad indeed..

Canelo Alvarez will be facing Paul Williams on September 15, 2012 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"Canelo could be tested stylistically by Williams, and given the styles of the two fighters, I doubt we get less than a good action fight, and we could possibly get something great, or at least very exciting. There's a chance that Williams' length and workrate really give Alvarez fits, but Williams' porous defense could also allow the young Mexican superstar openings to land hard shots in counter"
