    Ironic Pre-Fight talk.

I know boxers are meant to hype themselves up but what fighter's pre-fight trash talk was the most hilariously ironic or inaccurate?

    I'd go for:

"And come April 15th, in 3 rounds, I will be the greatest."

"I might have retired if not for Leonard wanting to fight me. But I guess you want to prove to yourself that you're the best out there"

Pretty prescient of Hagler there. He's obviously a classy dude to have sacrificed himself for Leonard's reputation like that.

Hagler wanted to prove to everyone he was the best.

And he did, the robbery not withstanding.

Holyfield's fixation with knocking Lewis out in round three. Fight 1

Ricardo Mayorga in a few big fights including:

          Delahoya

          Trinidad

          Mosley

Maybe the worst was when he told Cory Spinks he would "send him to his dead Mother."

I had Leonard winning the fight, but... I have a big but.

Leonards' b!tchassness before (waiting years, negotiating ring, rounds etc) and especially after (fake retirement until Hagler retired) the fight told the real story.

Yeah true, little did Hearns know it would be over in 3 rounds, but it wouldn't end in his favor.
