Marquez-Pac IV or Holyfield-Tyson 1...

I don't believe Marquez ever lost to Pacquiao. I think with Pacquiao's sloppy style put in with a boxer who learns from experience and is a technical master made a knockout or at least a boxing lesson very probable. Having said that I think Marquez being the far better fighter and with being jobbed in the past, it's easy to be happier for his win and this I could see as a cause for people to believe it was the "better win" but it's not.
Holyfield beating Mike Tyson was a much better win. Marquez should have been the favorite for every Pacquiao fight. Holyfield was an underdog and he beat a much better fighter in Mike Tyson than Marquez did in Manny Pacquiao.

Other than the brutality of the ko, Marqeuz beating Pacquaio in the 4th fight wasn't shocking. I expected him to win and we've seen him have his way with Pacquaio numerous times.
Holyfield beating Tyson on the otherhand was a huge huge shock. No one expected him to come out alive let alone win the fight how he did.
I'd say Holyfield's win was better.

Marquez already beat Pac at least once before this fight ... but the way he won their 4th bout was spectacular, much more awe inspiring than Holyfield headbutting and pumping his body with anabolics and HGH to a "victory" over Tyson.

But anyway, I can already see this ending up as a Tyson bashing thread, but to answer TS I would say Marquez' win was better boxing wise, but not even Pac can compare to the popularity of either Tyson or Holyfield so the Tyson win will always be much more famous.

I remember people talking like Tyson was going to literally kill Holyfield. People expected Marquez to win, even if they didn't expect that kind of knockout.

Now, the over/under and go/no go bettors... man, they must have made a killing. I would have bet my house on the fight going the distance.

Pacquiao's resume is superior? He has a resume that could be picked apart with very sound reasons to believe that it is not a good resume at all. H2H ranked higher than Marquez? Marquez has never legitimately lost to Pacquiao and most people who know boxing agree with that.
It's your opinion that I could never see eye to eye with, I am on the polar opposite end of your view.
