    Whitaker vs Chavez

    The Holyfield -Tyson thread gave me the idea for this thread. Did anybody here pick Whitaker? I know he was the underdog. Or did you pick Chavez?

            I thought Whitaker would win the fight.

            Back then, Chavez "undefeated" aura was something else, people expected him to win every single time. Similar to Mayweather now, but worse.

            But I knew he'd legitimately lose eventually and I knew Whitaker would beat him.
