More skilled? How do you know this? Infinitely better resume? How so? Pacman has a great resume. Tell me how can a fighter have an "infinitely better resume" than a fighter who knocked out flyweight, (super) bantamweight, featherweight, lightweight and welterweight titilists? (not too mention beating a 20lbs heavier Margarito.)

Plus with all this fuss about belts, Pacman has been #1 P4P in some people's list for a good while. It doesn't take a genius to know that if a prime Pacman stayed at a weighed division for a couple of years (and trust me, a couple of years would be needed) he would have unified all the belts cos he is an ATG, from Flyweight up to Welterweight. (apart from Mayweather's belts cos they'll never meet.)

Pacman was too busy moving up in weight to stay at a division for too long.

People tend to get nostalgic about times past. If Pacquiao and Armstrong where to meet, Pacman would be better because of the vitamins, protein shakes, training methods, etc. Look at the swimmers, 100M runners and the other athletes, sports evolve over time the sports people get better over time.

Imagine a 12 rounder between Manny and Armstrong, Manny could stay fresh and fight at full pace for 12 rounds while Armstrong would tire fighting at Manny's pace. Not to mention Pacman fighting only twice a year, Armstrong often fought 3 times a month. As Manny Steward said in the mid rounds while Pacman was domination Margarito, "he is a machine." Talent plays a part, but those vitamins, protein shakes, training techniques (evolved since Armstrong's time) and other devices (oxygen tanks, etc) played a part in Manny being as good as he is. (and was with Margarito.)
Look, nothing personal but you should learn about Armstrong before you talk about him.

Also learn about Margarito. That dude was ****ing awful.

my fun factoid is that armstrong had a heart (organ) that was 1/3 times bigger than the average human.

he also took 2 hours to fully warm up before a fight.

At Armstrong "tiring" against Pacquiao such a classic case of someone not knowing what they're talking about

What are you talking about? The circumstances were as different as night and day. The two men were in a war. Randall got a headbutt in, probably unintentional, referee ruled it intentional and Chavez got cut. The Dr had a look and stopped the fight, it went to the scorecards.

IF he beat Mayweather who is about as talented a fighter as u will see and then moved up to MIDDLE weight and beat the number 1 guy there and a p4p dude in Martinez then in my book he is right up there, baring in mid where he started out...

He wont though and wont crack my top 30

Stop. Just stop. Listen i hate it when everybody jumps on a guy for telling it like He see's it here but honestly mate u are so far off the mark there. Armstrong was beyond fit, completely tireless. His heart rate was actually abnormally slow which allowed him to work harder than other guys before it even got really going
If u dont know what your talking about or much on the fighter just dont comment, or at least not so assertively. Not knowing stuff isn't a crime, especially when it happened well before your time but piping up anyway is a foolish move

No, just no. They asked Chavez if he wanted to fight and he said no. Sorry but Chavez quit.

That's not true but let's for a second say it was, as I said in my original post regarding quitting, if Duran has been taking a beatdown Id understand. Chavez was in a war and had fought a war earlier in their first fight. Randall consistently poked his head out, purposefully or not is a different thing. Chavez "quit" because he had been cut by a blatant head butt and felt like he was unable to continue.
Duran outright quit because he couldn't be bothered. He admitted that in a recent interview, saying that he thought he would lose this fight and go in for a rematch better prepared. I'm sorry but that's pathetic.
