  • Who Had The Least Distance Fights?

Percentage wise of anyone over 20 bouts.

I was just trolling through Boxrec & noticed that Dante Craig was still fighting! I remember after Sydney Zoo (private joke) he was a big hope for the professionals but he's chinnier than a chinny chinny thing.

He recently lost to move his record to 19-13-1 but only 8 of his bouts have gone the distance.

I'm sure there's plenty of fighters who have had less stopped fights. The main one I can think of is John Mugabi who had 50 fights & only FIVE went the distance. I am proud to say I was at one of his fights at the Latchmere Leisure Centre in Wandsworth on the undercard of a Duke McKenzie bout.

    Any other contenders?

Only 2 people went the distance with Bruno.

He's got a 95% KO ratio if you disregard his 5 defeats.

      Highest for a heavyweight champion?

        Wilfredo Gomez

Out of 44 wins, 42 were by stoppage

None of his losses went the distance either

        Carlos Zarate

        66 wins, 63 by stoppage

Actually I am including defeats. That's the whole point of this. All of Bruno's losses were by kayo so 43 of his 45 fights didn't go the distance. That HAS to be the record. Kudo's to McCall & Philipp Brown for being the distance men.

I know that Valero had a perfect KO record but - in my mind - he only had half a career due to the out of the ring turmoils. A terrible terrible shame as I followed him from early days. I was in Surfers Paradise in Queensland when I heard the news. I almost choked on me stubbie.

I remember watching Dante Craig live at the Olympic trials at Foxwoods. Both him a Brian Vilorio looked like they were going to be future stars. To bad his pro career didn't pan out.

I was going to add on that even in defeat, 2 men still only went the distance with Bruno. I do like to use the 95% ko ratio without losses argument when debating with certain Klitschko fans.

Alfonso Zamora only went the distance once in 38 fights.
