the latter mostly, but i think it can certainly be considered subpar for floyd mayweather. i'm not to say that stems entirely from any deterioration, but i dont think he looked spectacular. in the past he has looked spectacular. he looked very good in spots. he's often steady as a rock.
i dont think there's any question that mayweather jr's legs arent what they used to be. he ended up getting touched a bit and looking like his conditioning was being called upon. i think there was a better way to fight and he wasnt able to impliment some of that because
cotto looked improved as well in terms of his game planning
for instance, and for whatever it's worth, mayweather looked much worse than did pacquiao against cotto.

Wow, I was not aware there was no P4P #1 at the moment. I haven't been paying much attention to the P4P rankings since a canceled my subscription to The Ring a couple years ago. I have mixed feelings about this. I like it in the fact that the #1 and #2 fighters in the sport have still not fought each other, after 2 years of anticipation for it.......but then again I think they should always have someone ranked #1 no matter what. Is this the first time the Ring has ever had the P4P slot vacant?

It's fairly recent too, earlier this week I think.

i think its a great move, the point should be made that floyd nor pacquiao can claim the #1 spot until they fight eachother. i wouldnt be mad if they even bumped them down a few spots and put martinez at #1.

It's actually one of the best I've seen him above 140. Combinations as if he were back at 130.

Give it to Ward! Martinez can't ride the Pavlik and Williams victories forever, he needs to take some new scalps.
