Pound 4 pound the best fighter in boxing is Pacman! Theres no one close to this guy in my opinion. He started at fly and fights up into welter +!! He's ducked no one on the way up and was a contender in all the classes. This lil guy can box and fight and his short comings don't seem to interfere with the out come of his bouts. He comes into fights in great shape ready to impose his will and will fight or box or both if his opponent is as game as he is. Terrific little fighter! Ray

YOu really cant drop pac when he hasnt had a chance to defend his spot. Why do it now? he's got a fight next month. they should just wait. If they were going to drop pac they need to do it when he just finished a fight.

If you're not gonna drop him after the marquez fight, you cant drop him now when he has a fight coming up vs bradley.

it makes no sense other than somebody from golden boy pressured ring magazine which is owned by them to drop pac. i know el jesus says you cant use gbp owning the ring as reasoning but how can you not?

They promote floyd. Pac's biggest rival. its a conflict of interest if i have ever seen one or it creates a su****ion of conflict of interest.

because if it was about that, they would have dropped pac the moment he decided to fight margarito. also the ring changing its policies and having this wacky p4p, i dont see the golden boy connection, honestly, they likely would have done this no matter what. also, pacquiao fighting mosley didint help as well, you forget, mayweather was dropped from the rankings, DROPPED.

They didint drop tszyu when he went on that long break from injury, but they dropped mayweather.

im posting this here because id like some historical context as to why this is a good thing, and i miss yall (no ****)
          1) It's silly.

          2) P4P is NOT a title. It's a debate. We happen to have a rare case where 1-2 are in range of each other. Nonito Donaire can't challenge Floyd Mayweather literally (or Pacquiao). Andre Ward can't either. Having two 2's is probably meant to foster debate but has drawn the wrong attention.

The P4P title doesn't really exist. It's just a concept for bored fans and lazy writers to fantasize about.

it seems perfectly reasonable to me you can't just say one particular guy is number 1 and the other is number 2 until they PROVE it

                the timing made no sense

bumping manny down shoudl have happened after the third marquez fight

bumping floyd up shouldnt happen after he looks as bad as he's ever looked.

ring magazine is owned by goldenboy promotions
                that cant be overstated

every time something from them is cited it should be brought up.

If he did, it was only compared to his own elite standards.

He was in with a live, determined guy who has been a rough night for everyone (Manny was a classic for five rounds). Other top guys are supposed to make you work. Floyd closed like a beast. It was one of his best performances considering we learn more from the guys that bring out the best.
