    Hardest puncher ever at 135??

2 names come to mind, Roberto Duran and Edwin Valero (rip) incredible knock out records at 135.

Arguello was a deadly puncher at 135.

can you really include Valero? despite his record he didn't really knock out anyone worth mentioning

In spite of not having a great ko percentage Ike Williams has to be up there. Be stopped a who's who of great fighters.

Punch for punch, the hardest hitter I ever saw at 135 was EDWIN ROSARIO.

I really don't think Edwin Valero rates. He KO'd no one of note at 130 and especially at 135....and from what I actually saw of him he didn't look like a one-punch monster. Guys like Arguello, Rosario, Duran, Ike Williams....they all had the ability to take out quality guys.

valero's power gets horribly overrated. i thought he had potential as more of a boxer.

the guy had three fights against real lightweights at the 135 lb limit.
                    3 of em.
the best guy he ever fought at antonio demarco, who is not hard to tag and took valero's best for 9 rounds

duran gets my vote. he had dynamite in his hands and he knew how to either land counterpunches or back you up to the ropes so he couldn't miss if he threw at your chest/center of gravity. they would either duck into it and take it on the chin or it would land on the body and he'd drop another couple hard ones and then they'd hit the deck

he's also a natural LW with a full LW career that was able to head up the scales and still hurt much larger guys (hagler, moore, cuevas, barkley, etc.) all the way to MW
