      Also while we are talking false heights Mike Tyson is NEVER 5'11 never mind adding that cheeky 1/2 inch on! I towered him when i met him

        Im 5'10" and when I met Hagler I towered over him. He's about 5'7".

          I never thought it would be hard for the measuring people to do it right.

          There's many inaccuracies in listings.

            Yes, Emanuel Steward said they listed Heans at 6-1 because he had trouble getting fights 147 because of his height. If you watch Hearns against James Shuler and Virgil Hill(6-1, 6ft and a half) you can clearly see Hearns is taller by at least an inch or two.

              More of a case of fibbing. The fighters (manger's, promoters, etc.) provide these stats. And they're not under oath either. Short fighters often have lied about their height the same way that Tom Cruise does.

                Scott, I saw Tom Cruise in Westwood and couldn't believe how short he was.

                    The reality is the only official stat is the weight. I don't believe most commissions measure for height or reach.

                      I remember Zefferino Gonzales was real tall but I doubt he was as big as Hearns and Barkley.
