    i'm voting no

juanma isn't going to be the legacy building win we thought it might be

he was a premature p4p entrant for sure.

donaire could very well beat him if his power carries to 126 (which i believe it will in all likelihood to the degree that it can get any man out of there if he connects enough) gamboa is relatively easy to hit when he opens up. lesser fighters have gotten to his chin.

and otherwise he doesn't have a ton of comp at 26 and 130 by the looks of things

he was an ATG amateur for what thats worth today.
he's about as fast as any FW i've seen
at least on the level with historic tier FW in terms of speed

my prediction is a resounding no, but id love to see him prove me wrong

and we don't even know if his age is correct
he could be much older than 29, or whatever they list his age.
His age is a big factor in why ive said no too, he has too much to do FAR too much and will struggle to get it done before those reflexes dull and that speed fades a fraction which as we know can make all the difference

What makes u question his age bud?

His natural talent & speed seem scary at times. But he has shown signs of having a shaky chin & his defence isnt always were it should be.

But the question is, when all said & done. Will Yuriorkis Gamboa be remembered as ATG fighter?
he needs some names I believe he would beat Donaire, and the people who are avoiding him.
He beats Ponce De Leon, Juan Ma Lopez, Chris John I think, not sure how far he could go if he moves up in weight

Salido is super-solid. DeLeon is pathetic, at times. That's why guys like JuanMa blow guys like DeLeon out in two minutes, while guys like Salido systematically destroy guys like JuanMa. Have you forgotten this has happened?

I guarantee you are again on an island all your own in thinking DeLeon is better than Salido.
Salido's win against Juanma was fluke anybody can see that and that is why Salido is ducking a rematch. Salido is a C class fighter at best.

How many really good fighters lose their titles via one-round blowout?

Ponce has nothing for the elite guys, which you will see in a little over 48 hours.

Juanma has the power and finishing ability to blowout a lot of guys and he would be able to move on with his career if Salido would stop ducking a rematch.

It's almost impossible to predict someone will be an ATG, but Gamboa has a good chance. Dude's speed is unreal, and if he can just keep his hands up a little more his chin wouldn't be so big a deal.

                I really like Gamboa.

JuanMa will lose a rematch to Salido.

JuanMa would again take DeLeon out in quick fashion, if they were to rematch.

Gamboa is going to wreck DeLeon. So, being wrecked by one guy who wrecked JuanMa, and wrecked by another who couldn't wreck Salido...tells me ponce is not as tough as Salido.

I think he could be.As everyone is saying he has the skills to be and i dont think his age is too much a factor nowadays fighters can fight longer into their primes if they eat and drink and train right.A win over Donaire and John can look pretty good at FW then move up and see what happens.I think people put too much on Gmaboas chin every kd Gamboa has suffered have been flash ones usually Gamboa being recklessy aggressive one of them was even an elbow that put him down if i remember carefully.Like has anyone ever seen him staggered badly?

If Salido would win then why is he ducking Juanma?
