Arturo Gatti vs Joey Gamache, almost a murder in there.
Plus, the actual murder: Luis Resto vs Billy Collins.

Smokin' Joe over Bob Foster or his brutal beating on Jimmy Ellis. Another prime example of his underrated power is his 4th round KO on George Chuvalo, where he tears his eye out of its socket.

Definetley Ali over Cleveland Williams, seeing that Williams hit him only 3 times in 3 rounds, and Ali knocked him down 4 times before the ref called it. Williams was a bloody mess after the fight.

Jack Dempsey over Jess Willard. Any time you can knock someone down 7 times in one round is ungodly.

Joe Louis not only knocked down Schmeling 3 times en route to a 1st round KO, he also broke 2 vertebres in his back with one punch.

And don't leave out both fights of Sonny Liston's jackhammer shots to poor Floyd Patterson's head.
Holmes vs Cobb was a beatdown!

Pacquiao busting up Margarito eye was pretty bad

Tony zale beat and ko’ed Graziano out cold in their 3rd fight

Vitali almost put Shannon Briggs in a coma the way he punished him (not literally)

      Hagler destroying Hamsho

Let’s not forget the ass whooping Calzaghe put on Jeff Lacy!

The worst beating was taken well by Vampire Johnson. I just cannot remember who doled it out. Was it one of the Tates?

Pretty surprised I'm not to seeing Danny Lopez vs Salvador Sanchez I and II mentioned yet. The first fight more so than the 2nd. That first fight was a slaughter and it also tells anyone who wasn't already aware that Danny Lopez was one of those men who must've had a hard time getting around in life, what with the wheelbarrow necessary for carrying around his what must be some just massive, elephantiasis affected looking balls in. Danny did do SOMEWHAT better in the rematch, not being stopped until the 14th round, which was one more round than he did the first time even, but still, I think it easily fits this list's criteria. As does Salvador Sanchez vs Wilfredo Gomez. Gomez did land his share here and there but that fight was a bad, bad blowout.

Shame on boxing for letting the films of those two fights deteriorate so. What remains that I've seen is very tepid for a Dempsey fight and too disjointed to understand the flow of the fight.

I agree it is impossible to watch . . . my statement comes from a Dempsey quote where he admitted some time later that by the start of the eight round he was only looking to survive, not wanting to go out with a KO. Also of course Dempsey's face was a mess afterwards, thus the famed line to Taylor, "Honey I forgot to duck."
