i still disagree cause duran at his best was more skilled than tyson at his best the way i see it and they are some of my favs so im not picking favs but....

i think fight night should hire u for their rating system

I think they should too. Literally the first thing I did when I got FNC was tweak all the ratings. David Haye higher than Sonny Liston? Timothy Bradley on par with Julio Cesar Chavez? Yuriorkis Gamboa better than EVERYONE?

Very good effort and a very good thread. Can clearly see you put alot of thought into it.

Obviously you're ranking system is subjective, but what isn't?

I disagree with you're rankings, though.

I don't see how Shane Mosley is Top 20 without the likes of Harold Johnson, **** Tiger and Carlos Ortiz, for example.

And I also don't understand how based on your ranking system that Ezzard Charles is so low. Shouldn't he be almost maxing out his points in every catergory?

But I'm just nitpicking. Great thread and really great effort.

This sorta stopped being a top 20 effort. I'm just ranking fighters for fun. Rafa Marquez isn't either haha. I'll be getting to those guys.

And Charles has great scores in everything except longevity. Even though it's not a lot, the guys who are higher than him have great scores in everything AND longevity see what I mean?

              Yeah I see. Good point.

I think I saw Ray Leonard higher than him, though. I can't remember

I like the system. I wouldn't rank a fighter this way personally because I feel sometimes lack of longevity can be outweighed and certain aspects can outweigh another resulting in a fighter being greater than another etc.

But everyone has their own way and this one was very well thought out.

Definitely get to ranking those fighters. Interested to see what score they get.

Ray Leonard's career stretched 20 years and I htink he was inactive for 14 of them. Holy ****.
