sanchez was the superior boxer in every way. So fluid, so natural, so gifted at such a young age. I would put my money on chava at featherweight. From the videos i saw on armstrong in youtube, not impressed.

Old school vanguards really need to stop making the old school fighters look like unbeatable bionic cyborgs. They can be gotten.

Sanchez also struggled to beat a late replacement who I believe only had about a dozen pro fights. And Nelson didn't even have a chance to train like he should have.So practice what you preach.

And if you're "not impressed" with what Armstrong accomplished you are an idiot. Especially when you are so high on what Pacquiao has done.

But I don't expect much a poster who scores fights based on which fighters face looks worse.

Nelson was older than Sanchez, just saying.

He also was a lot less experienced which is a much larger factor. Just saying.

I said it again because their ages are irrelevant. Nelson was not that much older anyway.

Sanchez was probably expecting an easy fight against Nelson, a relatively unknown at teh time. While Nelson knew he'd had to raise to teh occasion, to have any sort of chance at winning. Yet Sanchez still TKO'd him. Have you ever looked at it that way?

I know Sanchez won. He was a great fighter. But a strong case can be made that he would have lost against a better prepared and more experienced Nelson.

The whole point is that if that poster doesn't want people calling Armstrong unbeatable,he shoudn't be a hypocrite by doing the same with Sanchez.

22 year old Sanchez TKO'd Gomez in 8, took a 25 year old, then with more experience, Nelson 11 rounds.

                    Sanchez was teh greater fighter.

Here we go with the ridiculous " my guy knocked him out faster" logic. Foremen knocked out Norton and Frazier in two rounds. Ali knocked out Foreman but struggled with Norton and Frazier. With your logic Quarry is greater than Ali since he knocked Shavers out in one round and Ali went 15.

I hope you see how ridiculous that is.
