Oh, Im not trying to discredit his power, that would be asinine. Im just pointing out the controversy of his ko of Sharkey.

Overall I think Marciano is the harder puncher. He could club your arms till you couldn't pick them up or he could knock you out with one shot. He just seems more heavy handed in my opinion.

I think what it boils down to is Marciano was the "harder" puncher and Dempsey was the "better" puncher.....the two aren't exactly the same thing.

"Most" is a word that is fabricated...since except ****el I never saw him fighting dirty in such a degree that he will be disqualified. Its a kind of board disease write something excessive to trash a guy.

I will only say this Rock never hit a combo to the nuts and then a hook to the jaw. Dempsey fought dirty. Period.

Yea Rock was cut in Ezzard Charles fight...in todays era a lot of of other greats will also have more loses to their names than Rocky.

Rock had better one punch power than Dempsey. The concussive power in his right hand is one of the best. But Dempsey's punches were shorter and more accurate. He also stiched together combos better.

****ell was Rocky at his worst but 2nd LaStarza leaps to mind too. Big Rocky fan and I know from an interview I read of his with Peter Wilson that he was shocked at some of his tactics. Think he just got into a kill or be killed zone

Neither man was above fighting dirty, but nor did they truly rely on tha. I dont think either one is plainly worse than the other.
