I think youre missing the point. the point was when Vitali was facing non bums, he got hit without much trouble. and thats the truth.

when you face substandard competition, even defenseless fighters look like defensive wizards. ie Gatti vs some bums.

I can't believe this thread is still going on. Comeback George is substandard competition compared to any top heavyweight in any era and I doubt he would even have the punchers chance against Vitali. One big punch just isn't enough Vitali has an A level chin

Solis, despite his bulk, wasn't slow of hand. Watch his fights again. And again, as already mentioned, that fight lasted less than a round. Hardly much to guage anything on.

As for Arreola, I don't remember him landing much of any significance except for a few jabs as Vitali was backing up. Certainly nothing approaching a KO shot.

Lewis wasn't slow. Nor was he fat.

Now Tony Thompson, that guy is slow.

Aside from that being debatable, it applies to pretty much everyone. A quicker-handed fighter is more likely to hit you. Hence, it's irrelevant.
