Marciano three? Really? I don't think I've ever seen him rated that high. Is there any reason beyond his undefeated record?

When I first started posting about 12 years ago Marciano would often be seen in the top 5 of heavyweight lists. I believe I had him at #4 at one time but have since learned so much more about the other greats.
