Robinson is the best there ever was and the best there ever will be. The guy literally could do it all.

I'm surprised so many on here don't realise what a master boxer Sugar Ray really was.

I would say a past prime Sugar Ray Robinson is probably the most skilled fighter I have ever seen.

One of very few fighters who is almost flawless.

Which is why, along his resume, I have him as the greatest fighter of all time.

i don't get this thread to be honest.. the whole point of Sugar Ray Robinson was that he was the nexus of all things u need in boxing.

remember guys -- a lot of fights in his prime we've lost!

but his skills.. he could do everything, his footwork with his jab when boxing, but then his hard countering and accurate shots when u would pressure him.

Burt Sugar said it: "the only guy to knock a guy out with a left hook going backwards." you need some skill for that, hahaha.

Can someone post me a link of at least 10 of Sugar Ray's fights and at least 2 fights of each of his opponents in those fights.
