Wlad is a pretty good heavyweight, I'm not knocking him at all. But his jab pales in comparision to the greatest heavyweight 'jabbers'. His jab doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as the likes of Tunney, Louis, Liston, Ali or Holmes.

I'd put Wlad's jab on a par or just below that of Lennox Lewis.
Great points, but Wlads IMO is better because it sets up his right perfectly.

Pretty much all his opponents. Wlad doesnt even need his right hand to win fights.

And Louis's didn't?!! Louis set up his right hands better than any heavyweight I can think of.

Plus Wlad is a bit sparing with the right. If Wlad's jab was setting up his right hand so perfectly why doesn't he let it go more? I guess it is because he is a tentative performer.

Max Baer had as huge a chest, arms as Wlad and weighed 210 pounds. Plus Joe put to sleep tougher and naturally (bone structure wise) bigger men than Wlad , whose chin is suspect to say the least. Wlad's workrate is not great, he panicks when attacked andhe has never faced a great counterpuncher in his life (which Louis, Walcott, Charles was). That slow jab of Wlad, will be ducked, parried and countered all day long by those "small" heavyweights. Against todays giants, with straigh up stance and no parrying ability its another story though.

Agreed......... and Max Baer's chest was so broad he instinctively went through doors sideways. He would have weighed a fair bit more than 210 if he trained his legs differently, they were slender in comparison.

Wlad will completely shut down Adamek via his jab. It is a shame, Adamek has decent speed for a HW, fairly skilful, not a bad mover, if he had top power at the weight he would be a real live threat.

As it is though, Wlad will just control the distancing flawlessly and will just peg Adamek on the edge of his range, shut him down and take a UD.

Wlad's right hand vs louis's ? Setup? Wlad hasn't learnt properly how to followup his jabs yet

time will telll.....its unfortunate that when wlad does lose its just going to be because he was past prime...... but atleast i can still say he was destroyed by a blown up cruiser.....
