His jab is faster, more accurate, he doubles it better and pound for pound it appears to carry a greater impact.

Wlad is a pretty good heavyweight, I'm not knocking him at all. But his jab pales in comparision to the greatest heavyweight 'jabbers'. His jab doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as the likes of Tunney, Louis, Liston, Ali or Holmes.

I'd put Wlad's jab on a par or just below that of Lennox Lewis.

yeah i don't get what Steward is trying to teach those guys with that style. "Just keep your jab in his face until u hear the final bell". don't get me wrong: they use it pretty well but way too passively to be mentioned with Louis and the others.

This is a hard one. I'd say equal. Wlad uses it greatly to dictate the pace, action, and distance of the ENTIRE fight. Seriously, if you can win an entire fight based of your jab alone, you got something special. Louis had the better skill-set with his. He could double-up well and follow up with great combinations.

Louis had the better jab. But Klitschko's is on a super fit 6'6 240 lb body that allows his jab to dominate a fight by itself.

Wlad by a mile. He can win a fight with his jab alone not to mention he is about 60lbs on Louis and is faster. One of the best all-time.

Wlad paws with his jab and only dominates fights with it because his opponents are too unskilled to make him pay. The current crop of Heavyweights are clueless as to how to fight.

I agree, though Wlad does seem to be able to throw it in a more varied way than Louis.

Hank Klapnan once said that jab of Wlad would have put a smile in Joe loui's face. But its true that Louis did far more damage with his jab and was much more consistent with it.
