He whacked Ali with a right hand in round 7 of the Thrilla in Manilla.

Toughest fight would be Holyfield. He'd deal with him same way he dealt with Ali in the garden.

The only man who knocked him out is considered by many to be one of the hardest punchers of all time. None of the men mentioned by the thread-starter punch anywhere near as hard as Foreman.
im sure all of them except evander punch as hard if not harder than foreman, and even if they didnt punch harder all of them hav a significantly better technique than george and that is undisputable.george was crude while everybody on that list is are precision sharp shooters and all of them have good uppercuts which would spell doom for frazier if he bobs his way inside

I'd pick Frazier, but just barely by decision and out of ten fights they may split who wins.

Tyson would have a very easy time finding Frazier to hit him, but that wouldn't discourage Frazier and Frazier would get inside like always where Tyson was uncomfortable. If Frazier can handle the power, he eventually breaks Tyson down and dominates down the stretch for the decision.

Lewis beats Frazier, he was just too big and too skilled. Vitali is the same situation, too big, too strong, too skilled.

I'd definitely pick Frazier over Wlad, Wlad's pawing jab and basic punch selection would be a breeze for Frazier to get by, and while it wouldn't be easy to deal with the size or power Wlad isn't skilled enough to deal with how good Frazier was at getting inside. Frazier wins a comfortable decision, maybe stops Wlad late.
i dont think you have ever seen wlad fight.only big guy with a deeper aresenal than wlad would be bowe and wlad is extremely skilled.watch frazier vs bugner and see if you still like joe's chances

You don't think Frazier was just underprepared and arrogant in the run up to that fight.

Also it was in Kingston, Jamaica and he is Smokin' Joe Frazier...in the 70s!

Theres a Cheech n Ching movie waiting to be made right there.

It took Lewis 8 rounds to put away a shot Tyson and in the prime of his career was cold clocked out by C fighters who were not known for their punching power or style, there is absolutely zero chance that he is beating Joe Frazier. Do not embarrass yourself by arguing otherwise. An argument for that would be amusing though.
lewis was stopped by 1 big strong guy with 1 of the great chins in boxing by a right hand, and he was stopped by another big guy with a right hand.joe is not big,joe doesnt have a great chin, nor is a big right hand in his arsenal

No, I didn't mean to imply it was useless, but it's no boxing secret that the left hook was his money punch. His entire offense was centered on it.

Foster, Quarry, and Bonevena didn't punch anywhere near as hard as the Lewis, Tyson, or the Klitschko's. In Fosters case he didn't even punch as hard as Holyfield. He was a devastating puncher at 175 but his punches had no affect at heavyweight. That being said, Frazier certainly was capable of beating any of those fighters. But in terms of power Tyson, Lewis, and Wlad Klitschko are heavy hitters.

Now you got me thinking. Cos Frazier style, his bob and weave, isn't ALL that and being blindsided sometimes. Thats a big disability too.

His eye was bad from the beginning.

Against Evander, Lewis and Wlad with that bad eye he'd be eating that jab all day.

Another thing you hear Joe Frazier these days and he sounds like he has been through the wars but Larry Holmes early KO does prove the power of Tyson and other modern boxers who could eat that Tyson power.

Tyson...I dunno. You could even argue the Buster Douglas that stepped on Tyson was better than Frazier but Frazier's greatness is in the opponents he faced and defeated.

He faced George Foreman twice, which is something EVERYONE including Ali avoided doing, and he defeated a prime Ali and lost two close decisions to him.

Thats the spirit that makes him a top ranking fighter and he got results with his spirit. Its just a shame it cost him so much.

He ain't too smart after all that, but he deserves more respect than such and such could KO him.

Sorry if that sounds a bit gay.
