At 147, i think SRL would likely need a few more rounds to stop him like he did to papa Floyd Sr. SRL stopped Mayweather Sr. like in 10 or 11 rds, and will likely need the 13-15 rds for stoppage as he did with benitez with a few seconds left. SRL usually would be cautious with fighters with great speed in the first few rounds and took time to figure them out. I will say that Floyd Sr. did give a good effort before SRL stopped him, but i actually think Floyd Sr. and even uncle Roger probably had more guts than PBF. Roger atleast got in the ring with guys like Whitaker and Chavez.

To KO Floyd, in my opinion is a lot easier said than done.
In 41 Pro bouts & 84 Amateur fights, he has never been down from a actual punch. That's impressive.....
Ray Leonard cound't KO/TKO the likes of 19-10 Rocky Ramon, 22-8 Rafael Rodriguez, 11-3 **** Ecklund, Randy Shields, Bernardo Prada, & Adolfo Viruet.
So why is it a such a certain fact that he KO's Mayweather? Who has incredible defence aswell as sound whiskers?

There wouldn't be a ko, but I think Leonard batters him mercilessly and has Floyd covering up and forgeting entirely about fighting back. Leonard is to big, to fast and to multi faceted, he wins an easy decision after he figures out Floyds D and keeps him backing up.

At 147, Zab Judah scored a legitimate knockdown against Mayweather since his glove touched the canvas, and the HBO replay clearly showed that and the commentators also agreed that it should have a KD.
I agree, that the poll should have had the option of going the distance. But if you look at SRL, when he fights high quality opponents he tends to go for the KO and not leave it up to the judges.
We can say he didn't KO this guy or that guy, but he did score knockouts against champions as Benitez, Kalule, Hearns, Duran(okay quit or whatever), and Lalonde. So i think with a skillfull fighter as PBF, SRL likely would go for the KO. But i would agree that PBF would likely last 12 rds, i think it would take nearly the full 15 rds for SRL to stop him.

Leonard's too big and too strong but i don't see a ko.
Floyd's a defensive genius and a lot lot better than his old fella.
I can see Ray taking an md, but not without a few shakey moments because PBF is computer fast at landing single lightning counters that'd have Leonard blinking like an Owl.

I agree that it goes the distance. Leonard would win a decision IMO. Leonard was too strong for Mayweather and he had real KO power at 147. But he would have some of the same problems with Mayweather that he had with Benitez. Mayweather has a difficult style and as badly as many people wan't to see him KO'd it's not that simple. And I don't believe Benitez was better than Mayweather. And yes, I've seen him fight.
