you query my points because you know nothing about what i am talking about then you come out with several `Howlers`which you claim are facts yet in fairness your talking garbage.
1/. Alonge beat top contenders, he fought a draw with George Chuvalo in 1963 when Chuvalo was at the very top of his game, many ringside reporters had Alongi the winner.
2/. Quarry was voted the most popular fighter in the world from 67-70 by Ring Magazine & Boxing Illustrated Mag.
3/. Buster Mathis was a bigger guy than Foreman and Buster was a very good fighter wether you like it or not.
3/. Shavers had a 46-2 record coming into the Quarry fight in 1973 with KO wins over Jimmy Ellis & Jimmy Young, Shavers was at the top of his game and to claim otherwise is laughable.. Quarry hammered Shavers in devastating fashion something Holmes, Norton, Lyle nor Muhammad Ali could do.
4/. Quarry vs Along (1) & (2) fights are not "Non-Existent" as i happen to have both fights like i said previously along with 27 more fights of Jerry Quarry.
5/. i aint romanticizing the career of Jerry Quarry, i am telling it how it unfolded but you are trying to diminish a great fighters achievements when the truth of it is that you don't know what you are talking about because i have just proved you wrong on almost everything you are trying to claim

Oh and do you know who else KO'ed Shavers. 5'11 Ron Stander. The Jimmy Young win (Young was 7-3 at the time) and the Jimmy Ellis win arent like amazing accomplishments. Both guys were under 200 lbs and neither guy was really that good. Young was 7-3 at the time fighting club fighters.

I also notice that you leave out that Shavers was also mercilessly beaten by Bob Stallings...a fighter with a sub .500 record, the same year he lost to Quarry.

I mean you romantacize the past fighters and cut down the modern fighters. We all get it, we all understand thats what you do.

Its almost worth the 40 just to hear Sonnyboys voice. Still how could anyone believe you have the first fight by listening to the commentary...you said it was silent?

Im pretty sure this guys trying to use boxingscene to run a scam, shouldnt he be banned for this? Im fairly confident this type of stuff is banned by the TOS. Is there a mod over here?

Sorry, but I'm only familiar with US currency. And it is obvious that you are deliberately making this such a difficult task that you know that I won't bother with it. Listen to a fight on my mobile phone? Seriously?

listen Boxrec geek.. whenever i have said a fighter is a certain height i can guarantee that the fighter is the height i have claimed him to be, your only source of boxing info is Boxrec which i have told you is wrong more than 50% of the time and just to prove to you that i am correct i want you to go to boxrec and look up the fighter who we have been discussing in this thread "Tony Alongi" on his record it states that Alongi is 6ft 3ins tall, i want you to click onto the `Biography`link which is just under his name and you will see that Alongi is listed as "Over 6ft 5ins Tall"... So next time you go to Boxrec to question a fighters height if i have stated it remember that i am correct and you are wrong just like you are wrong with every single thing you spew out of your childish big mouth, you are a complete ******* who knows nothing whatsoever about the history of professional boxing.

it is a quite simple process but if you don't want to listen to the commentary to get verification of their existence then i am cool with that, all you then need to do is PM me your e.mail address and we can take it from there.. Yet i get a strong feeling that you are a bluffer and i have called your bluff so put up or shut up

Another member here has PM'd me a site that has archives of old fights. So there will be no need for any international transactions. This site appears to verify the existence of these fights, so I do apologize if I questioned the veracity of your claims.
