so a 22 year old charles that had just come off of 2 UD over a joey maxim and is now scheduled to fight a Joe calhagze at 168 for 10 rounds.

assuming charles has more then a month to train for calhagze unlike the bivins match i see him hitting 168 in peak physical condition and not wanting this match to go to the judges.

Charles by ko in the 7th, via string of combos set off by a counter.

Calzaghe struggled with the two best counter punchers he faced: Hopkins and Reid. both fights were even controversial.

Charles was a very skilled counterpuncher, so I just dont see this fight going well for Calzaghe.

Arent some of the best LHW/SMW of all time British?, you know Calzaghe, Eubank, Benn, Collins, McCallum who was born in Jamaica when it was part of England. Let alone what those divisions look like today with tons of Euros being huge.

Add a few names and you'll have essentially listed every British ATG in history for every weight class.

I'm not going to defend his post, but I'll say that there is nothing to "troll" in this thread. It was a joke since the beginning. Don't act surprised at the responses because it was surely what you were aiming for.

There was never going to be any sensible discussion in this thread, atleast not after insisting that Calzaghe would destroy Charles in the early rounds and that the stoppage wins over Mario Veit and Will McIntyre are somehow proof of this awesome power he supposedly had, while calling me (an European) biased for not acknowledging an European boxer (who is actually an American clubfighter) as a big win for Calzaghe.

Your reputation as a knowledgeable boxing fan is in ruins, unless you come out and say what everyone already knows, that you were just joking around and winding people up.
