vitali by late stoppage. liston's got faster hands and is the snappier puncher, but vitali's strength stamina size better defense and in his prime decent footspeed wins this for him. sonny's my favorite 60s heavyweight, even more than ali, but he was open to the jab. vitali's jab is stiff and he throws it nearly non stop with great accuracy. mayweather wlad dirrell and i think ward are the only active guys with better jabs than vitali.

his stamina won't help in a 15 rounder against a guy used to fighting them in my opinion. Liston would out jab him and win a decision in my opinion.

Vitali always breathes through his mouth and he looked pretty fine to me getting up instantly and going and confronting Lewis yelling at him in the center of the ring. Liston, a guy knocked out by a jab, would not be able to withstand one Vitali right...let alone Wlad's "greatest right cross in history" Klitschko's right cross.

You don't need to have your mouth gaping open when breathing through it. I say he was exhausted as shown in my previous post.

When did Liston fight a 15 rounder? Liston never went past 12 rounds and he only went past 10 round once. He fought 4 matches scheduled 15...3 were KO 1's and 1 he quit after 7. So what are you talking about?
