Liston's No1 sparring partner was 6ft 7ins Ernie Terrell who himself was WBA Heavyweight Champion.
Also this liar, keeps saying that guys were are big as Vitali. Vitali had 40 lbs on Terrell. 40 freaking pounds. So even though Terrell was only 2-3 inches shorter (he is listed at 6'5 at times), he was 40 lbs less. Thats nothing like Vitali. Outta here troll liar.
Also cite where I said height was the only thing that matters. Valuev with little skill and no athleticism held a belt and had numerous successful defenses. So what are you talking about. Valuev proves my point. Height and size matter. If Value was 6'3 200 he wouldnt even be boxing.

In his entire career Liston fought one guy who weighed 216 lbs or more.. One, and it was an over the hill bum who was in the midst of a 4-8-2 end of his career. Not that his record before that was great. It took 7 rounds for Liston to KO Zech, even though a year earlier the great losing record fighter Dave Bailey KO'ed him in 2. There is absolutely no reason to believe Liston, at 6'0, giving up 35 lbs or so, could "savagely" knockout a man whose never been knocked down. Theres nothing to say he could, absolutely nothign.

His other opponents are nowhere near the calibre of Liston, trash resume.

No that's basketball but both begin with B so I can understand your confusion
Ever thought he might body punch? Old fashioned fighters used to do this thing called body punching, I know the "contenders" now favour the walking slowly forward in a straight line approach but this body punching thing really worked!
Ooooh trust me Vitali wouldn't be in a hurry to get near enough to Liston to clinch
And how is he going to get close enough to body punch Vitali, you clearly dont watch boxing, it aint easy to body punch Vitali in his stance. He leaves his chin out there to protect his body.
Have you ever boxed? Im guessing not.
