its not a dance little boy its a fight and every fighter fouls in the course of his career and the fouling was not that bad , ali ,hagler, holyfield, leonard, are some great fighters but they all at times went beyond the rules .and you should watch the fight again and look at curry

Holyfield was a dirty fighter , Hagler used elbows against Hearns . Ali was dirty of course . But what did Leonard do ?
Not everyone was dirty BTW : James Toney , Chris Byrd , Orlin Norris , David Tua , Antonio Tarver , George Foreman , Julian Jackson , Ike Ibeabuchi and more
Was one of them dirty ? there are rules , if you don't like the rules watch Fedor Emalianenko use Bernard Hopkins' tactics where they belong without the headbutts and with a little help of a fixation . Headbutts are banned everywhere as far as I know.

leonard used the ropes illegally from time to time and also held behind the head and tua when in close would throw the odd elbow and if you dont think toney ever used illegal tactics then you are blind, the point is all fighters at some time in their careers have transgressed the rule book

Maybe Tua threw an elbow when he missed a hook .
And I watched almost every fight of James Toney except against bums , most of his fights I watched I did for 3 to 5 times , so maybe you will tell me what I failed to see.

This is what I thought also.

Honeyghan was a good fighter with a fairly short prime. His style should have been perfect for Curry given that he tended to throw roundhouse punches and leave himself very open to an accurate puncher which Curry was in spades. Problem was Curry was constantly sweating down to WW from 170 lbs and had started fighting at light mw before the McCrory fight I believe. I guess the ease of the McCrory fight made him think he could continue at WW although I believe his manager wanted him to move up. As for Honeyghans fouling apart from the butt in the last round which looked accidental to me I don't think is proven or relevant. Basically Curry was done at WW and by not timing moving up at the right time was pretty much done completely. Shame because people forget how good Curry was and it seems don't realise how good Honeyghan was for a time.
