Shavers, Foreman, Louis, Tyson - who was the hardest puncher

The General feeling is that Foreman or Shavers was the hardest punchers in Heavyweight History but did they really punch as hard as Joe Louis or Mike Tyson.. Foreman & Shavers never fought the quality of opponents which Louis & Tyson fought and KOd.. who in your opinion and why, is the Hardest puncher of the four fighter

Never got hit by any of them, but based on film footage Shavers or Foreman, probably Shavers. As for who was the best puncher and finisher, Joe Louis. Tyson is up there in every category, brute power, punching technique and finishing ability.

Yes I think one punch power it's Shavers followed by Foreman but for combinations i'd go Louis but honourable mention to Tyson

I would rank Foreman's over all power better than Shavers because he had awesome power in "both" hands, where Shavers only had great power in his right hand.I would rank Shavers right hand harder than any punch of Foreman's,but George had better power when considering both hands.

I would rank Tyson right behind Shavers and Foreman, and Louis right behind Tyson.

from what i've read shavers had the most raw power but i'd say the best power + skill would be joe louis

Shavers was the hardest hitter, Tyson was the guy who could hit you hardest without you seeing it coming.

the hardest puncher of the four is shavers, with foreman a close second, tyson had power but not as fierce as these two,joe did carry a good punch but not as devastating as shavers or foreman but could give tyson some competition
