I know his division was pretty weak but Bernard Hopkins anyone? I think he entered if after the Jones fight, and it ended after the 1st Taylor fight although with his great technical ability he can still get the job done today.
Pernell Whitaker? He was like a bank, he was robbed so many times it wasn't even funny. I think the only decisive losses in his career came to Tito and his last fight but I think I read Pernell even fought with a broken jaw in that fight, or was it his hand? Didn't know while I was watching it. But the worst robbery in history was the 1st fight with Ramirez, I've watched the Oscar fight three times, first time I had Pernell up by 2 rounds, second time up by a round, so I could see it being a draw but I don't think oscar won that fight, and the Chavez decision was absolutely disgusting and probably the 2nd biggest robbery. BUt other then the robberies and he wasn't even at his best against Oscar, he was still literally untouchable and couldn't be beat.
I do agree partially, Frazier has become bitter over the years about he fights with Ali.
I wasn't talking about Frazier's feeling towards Ali,I could care less about that.I don't like to see fighters rated as something they're not.In my view,Frazier is no all time great and I get tired of seeing him treated like one.
There are so many holes in his career that are glossed over, that very few other fighters have been able to get away with.
Sure you can! Even hall of fame quarterbacks have the odd bad game here and there. We're talking about human beings here not machines

Having a week to prepare for a team is not the same as having 2 months to prepare for a fighter.
An elite level fighter won't have an off night, just because... There has to be a reason for it.
Whether it be over-training, under-training, dehydration, being unfocused, sick, no sleep, out partying the nights before, or the opponents gameplan and style, you have to be able to chalk it up to something.
