A lot of people are saying Ali but I believe that Frazier at his best beats Ali at his best most of the time - even before his layoff.

I have to disagree there......Prime Ali was way to fast for Frazier. Even the slower 1970 version of Ali had the fight pretty much even after 12 rounds. Bear in mind I'm not a Frazier hater: I actually LIKE Joe.....better than I like Ali.

You make me want to make a Roy hate thread...

I'm not gonna lie, I already wanted to make one because of people like you that give Roy the cloak of invincibility.

Bad nights don't exist, unless you over-train or are dehydrated.

Opponents with the right style, intangible, ability, or gameplan make a fighter have a bad night.

Or sometimes they just have a bad night No fighter, no matter how good, is going to have his A-game every time out

Ali was probably the closest you come to a specimen of an unbeatable fighter. Monzon was up there as well.

Why is that? Is it a book worth ordering?

Its a great book, I read it within 2 days. It documents the feud between Ali and Frazier from when it started and finishes at this present time. The HBO documentary the Thrilla in Manila, was based on the book as well

Nah, I just forgot to say under-training.

You can't have a bad night, if you've trained properly and thoroughly, are focused, and have a good gameplan.

JMM and Morales made Pacquiao have a bad nights. Castillo made Mayweather have a bad night.

If anything gameplans are underrated and fighters are overrated.
