Hearns most likely via knock out at any weight from 154-190lbs.. Hearns would be the best opponent Jones had ever been in with also he would be the hardest puncher Jones had ever been in with, Hearns would also be the fastest and most skilled fighter Jones had ever faced in his entire career, height & reach as well as power all lie with Hearns... i cannot see how Jones could win looking back at all his fights as he fought not a single fighter who resembled Hearns in any way..... Hearns KO5

Sugar Ray Leonard springs to mind....Hearns beat lots of skilled fighters Benitez, Olajide, Shuler, Hutchins, Kinchen, Hearns loss to Hagler was solely down to Hearns breaking his right-hand in the opening round... But with you being a boxrec geek and not knowing anything whatsoever about the sport of boxing you cannot understand what i am saying..... your ****** reply to my post can be turned around and the question asked: " if Tarver, Johnson & Green can put Jones to sleep" then it would be cruelty letting Hearns at him.

lmao.in what way is srl like roy jones???
who said hearns didnt beat skilled fighters?
hearns breaking his hand had nothing to do with marvin breaking the china in his chin.marvin walked through every hearns shot anyways
unfortunately for your ******ed ass logic, the thread says prime, not past it lol.

tarver, johnson and green would also crucify a past it hearns

Yeah Hagler walked through every Hearns shot so much that referee Richard Steele took Hagler to the neutral corner to be looked at by the doctor with the intention of stopping the fight such was the damage done to Hagler.. but you would not know that because your knowledge of the sport is zero, you just like to look on boxrec and make up your own ridiculous assumption of a boxing fight without ever seeing how that fight actually unfolded and played-out...

Who has Roy Jones beaten who was in the same league as Marvin Hagler ?

Hearns broken right-hand had everything to do with his loss to Hagler

you asked who Hearns had fought who resembles Roy Jones and i said Ray Leonard comes to mind.. but there again you would not know that because you wont have ever seen any footage of Ray Leonard..

The reason that you are `in the red` is because you know nothing about boxing and repeatedly keep coming out with idiotic comments time after time so members get pissed off with you and red K you on a daily basis, i have read quite a few of your comments and its clear to me that you use boxrec to see the result of a fight them make up your foolish comments based on that result.. to claim that Roy Jones would beat Thomas Hearns by fatality is one of the most laughable comments i have ever read in all the time i have posted on this forum... did Roy Jones beat Reggie Johnson, Lou Del Valle, Fermin Cherino, Jorge Castro or Julio Gonzalez by fatality?.... yet they all took Jones the 12rd distance were as Hearns would have put them all too sleep within 5rds

Sonny, I see your points, but I really want to know how Leonard is at ALL like Jones. They were both fast and powerful, but Jones was faster and probably a little less powerful. They had completely different styles and attitudes.

SRL was better than RJJ.....I agree both were fast, but SRL had alot more power. You said so yourself saying RJJ was probably a little less powerful. In his fight with SRL,if it wasn't for SRL's power Hearns would have chewed up and spit out SRL!!

But i still think it would have been a close fight, with Hearns hurting RJJ a couple of times, thus the difference in a very close fight.

                Hearns 7-5 or 8-6-1

RJ knocks Tommy out. 160 is the best weight to have this fight at, and Roy was too good. Even if Hearns landed the right, it would have to be perfect to knock Roy out and the chances of that are slim.

On the other side, RJ's speed would make Tommy chase him, and RJ was a plenty big enough puncher that eventually he would put too much damage on Hearns, leading to a stoppage.

lmao.richard steele took him to a corner to look at a cut which may have come from a head butt lol,not cause he was in danger of being k.od as your trying to imply lol.jeesus you dudes will stop at nothing.every single poster on here has,or has used boxrec,so what is your point?i use youtube,*******s,ares and the video trading block also if you want to know the rest of my boxing database

bernard hopkins, james toney come to mind lol

when i look at the posters who are green around here, such as jab, poet, and yourself,id much rather be in the red.they get mad cause i present facts and shut down ****** arguments like this 1.look around you.your the only 1 who seems to think hearns has a shot

lmao you really just solidified your ******ity, and showed your lack of boxing knowledge with that part.has anybody ever stopped del valle,or reggie johnson?only person to stop gonzalez was a much younger tavoris cloud and that was recently and questionable.castro literally ran the entire fight.did johnson, valle, cherino, castro,or gonzalez all start at welterweight???were they ever ko'd by a ww like hearns was against leonard?only good supermw hearns fought was barkley, and he got promptly put to sleep lol.i'll tell you who jones did k.o.he stopped virgil hill with 1 body shot, and we know hearns didnt like to be hit to the body.hearns was also ko'd by uriah grant.whomever the hells that is lol

give it up,or call for back up.its to easy slaughtering you

i dont even think he could explain that.he compares a guy who liked to jab and fight to a guy who never jabs and moves away
