Spinks was a great fighter. No argument. He was not, however, a particulary dangerous heavyweight. Do Joe Frazier and Ali get much credit for their wins over Bob Foster? The size/strength difference was just too much.
Getting back to the original point of the thread. When did Tyson beat an opponent that fought back?
He was the HW champ so it doesn't really compare.
