I'd say the other way around, Pryor was a beast and a fighter. Tyson only were fun to watch the first rounds...

Spinks was a great fighter. No argument. He was not, however, a particulary dangerous heavyweight. Do Joe Frazier and Ali get much credit for their wins over Bob Foster? The size/strength difference was just too much.

Getting back to the original point of the thread. When did Tyson beat an opponent that fought back?
That doesn't make any sense. Frazier and Alli do get credit for those wins too. Anyway, Foster never beat Ali or Frazier to become the champion. Spinks did. He beat 'the man' twice and then defended a couple of times before being knocked out and retired.

He was the HW champ so it doesn't really compare.

I showed you why I didn't think it was close by listing the two's resume's.I don't need some personal ATG list to back up my argument.

Arguello had already moved up two weight classes you ****** ****.

Cut the potty mouth out and stop trolling, malone.Spinks moved up to a weight class where there was a twenty five pound gap.

Imagine Arguello jumping from featherweight to junior middleweight and fighting the the best fighter in that division.........because that's Spinks done when he gained weight to move up a weight division to fight the best heavyweight of his era and the linear heavyweight champion.

Spinks was a greater heavyweight than Arguello was a JWW.

So you copied and pasted two resumes off of boxec, big deal. YOU said it wasn't even close. The only way to back that up is by giving us an example of where both should rank. Maybe you're right. But without posting a list your words are hollow.
