Bob Fitzsimmons G.O.A.T?

Why dosent Fitz get his due respect on here?

He's a great fighter, but to say he's the greatest of all-time is ridiculous.

His record is nothing special. He only beat 6 quality opponents. None of them are remembered for greatness. The best win on his record is probably Corbett, and he's not rated that highly amongst heavyweights.

If we're going by accomplishments, like him winning titles in three weight classes, then Henry Armstrong trumps him. Because not only did Armstrong do the same thing, but he has an amazing record to go along with that. So amazing that it's one of the best records of all-time.

I'm not saying Armstrong is the greatest fighter of all-time, but he's surely greater than Fitzsimmons. I can name lots of other fighters who are greater, as well.

Fitzsimmons is possibly the G.O.A.T, anyone in the top 10 has an argument for being it imo. He achieved so much and dominated.

The great Sam Langford knocked out heavyweights, while weighing as much as Fitzsimmons' did, too. A lot more quality heavyweights, actually. His resume also trumps Fitzsimmons'.

Langford is also generally rated as the better puncher.

And yes, a fighter is supposed to know the vital parts of the body. He's a fighter.

If you're not gonna give a more detailed reason as to why he's greater, but just say "no, he's greater", it makes your argument look very weak.
