    Sonny Liston

    Ali
    Louis
    Johnson
    Holmes

    George Foreman

    Ali
    Louis
    Johnson
    Holmes
    Liston

    Joe Frazier

    Ali
    Louis
    Johnson
    Holmes
    Liston
    Dempsey
    Foreman

I see Foreman and Liston being VERY bad style matchups for Frazier, Tyson, Marciano, and quite possibly Dempsey. I tend to think Frazier, Tyson, and Marciano are 50/50 matchups against each other.

My reasoning on LL vs Frazier is Lennox uppercut. He had a jarring uppercut Frazier would have to get hit by if he were to get inside. If Lewis can survive the Frazier onslaught and start landing this punch I'd give him a very good chance.

Foreman would probably have Joe on the canvas during this fight, but I don't think he could keep him there. Louis never stayed down in his prime and almost always came back harder after being hurt. I think Foreman is to wide open for Joe's pin point punches and his stamina was always suspect in his prime. Once Joe had him tired and hurt it would be over in my opinion.

Honestly I think these guys have the best chance at beating the guys named, but I would give a few others a chance also and could think of scenarios where they could also win. I certainly wouldn't bet on any of them though.
Lewis had a decent uppercut but it was a punch only used against taller opponents, it wasn`t a punch Lewis used against Tyson or Tua because it would leave him open to the left-hook, Frazier would behead Lewis the 1st time Lennox went for a uppercut, Lewis has a chance of using the same tactics he did against Tua with these 3 fighters of running backwards and building up points with his jab, But Foreman & Liston both applied 50 times more pressure than David Tua and both had a jab/reach 15ins longer than David Tua, so it would be a whole different ball-game.. All 3 of these fighters had granite chins and devastating punching power, styles make fights and to beat these 3 fighters in their prime you needed a Muhammad Ali, against the others i see it being `short-sharp-merciless and brutal`

In his defense, Lewis was easily able to control both Tyson and Tua with his jab and right hand. Joe is going to be a whole other ball game with the pressure he brings.

I may be mistaken, but did Lewis have success with the uppercut vs Holyfield?

JAB.. what i am saying is that Lennox would struggle to even beat Liston or Foreman to the jab never mind use his uppercut, Foreman & Liston both possess a reach which are the equivalent or greater than that of Lennox, Tyson, Holyfield & Tua all have a short reach and are not known as having a great jab, they are known for being `great left-hookers` both Liston & Foreman carry dynamite in their punches and with having such a long reach and powerful jab Lennox Lewis would have little to keep them off him so as to stop them landing their bombs, Lewis uppercut would be virtually non-existent as he would be back-peddling looking to avoid the onslaught of bombs coming at him which they would set-up off their jab, yet Frazier, Liston & Foreman are so experienced at cutting off the ring i see them trapping Lennox and knocking him out. Lennox struggled very badly with the jab-right hand of Frank Bruno so i dont give him much hope against these 2 silver-backs.

I see no one has been brave enough to mention one of the Klitschko brothers LOL. I reckon Wladimir has the arsenal to cause those guys problems but his heart, chin and stamina(15 rounds) doesn't put him in great favour IMO. Tis a shame he doesn't have Vitali's chin.
