colazo vs andre berto was ranked as one of the top fights of 09 u.d. i thought colazo won the bout but they were trying to build up berto's undefeated record..

Was there a better fight in 1975? Serious question.

I recently watched Carlos Santos-Mark Medal from 1984 and it really amazes me that Ramirez-Rosario II won the title for that year, Santos-Medal was a dramatic and brutal fifteen roun all out war which had more thrills, chills and spills than Ramirez-Rosario II had by a long shot. Just a bad call by The Ring.

          Holyfield-Tyson 1 winning FOTY over fights like Barrera-McKinney, Gatti-Rodriguez, and Bowe-Golota 2 was laughable.

          Toney-Jirov and Gomez-Arthur were better fights than Gatti-Ward 3.

They used to just pick pretty much any HW fights of significance. Ali-Jones? Foreman-Frazier 1? That was a one-sided, 2 round massacre.

Young-Foreman, which took place the same year as the first Saad-M. Johnson fight?

          Lee-LoCicero was a better fight than Leonard-Hearns 1.

Never seen all of Robinson-Basillo 2, but it this wasn't a bad choice, then it must have been one amazing fight. Moore-Durelle 1 took place that same year.

Tyson-Holyfield I was entertaining, but not sensational. That fight was overrated because it was dramatic. Good fight, but not a great fight. Certainly not the best 1996 had to offer.

I think Duran-Barkley in 1989 was Ring Magazine's fight of the year, but I feel there might be more exciting fights than this, I've heard McCallum-Graham was the best middleweight fight since Leonard-Hagler.
