Interesting on Pancho Villa. Because i thought he was a little short of 100, but he did have 16 NC's which put him over 100 fights. I guess i assumed that his 92 official decisons wouldnt have included 16 additional bouts that were NC's. In addition, he died so young at 23 that few would think he would go over 100. I guess that is what happens when you go from the top of the head.

***** quite rightly states, he was killed on a motorbike at age 28.. Tragically, he was on his way to visit his wife in hospital, who i believe had just given birth..
Tony Canzoneri had 174 fights b4 losing by TKO to Al Bummy Davis in his very last fight..
Others include: Mike Gibbons (131) Dullio Loi (126) Billy Graham (126) Packy McFarland (112) Sammy Angott (108)Last edited by sonnyboyx2; 01-29-2010, 03:28 AM.

I'm not quite sure what you mean with ref to Henry's list, because anyone who has gone over 100 fights without being KO'd and retired, surely must have reached 100 in order to have accomplished this, so providing they have all done this, they must all be correct answers to the question.. Otherwise the question would have asked;
Fighters who reached 100 fights before being KO'd?
I'll also be taking a more in depth look at some of the fighters he's mentioned..
It's a fantastic list and i'm not doubting the statistics, but due to the vast content of names, some of them being relatively obscure, it creates plenty of branches for debate..

I did put a polite request in on another thread, but he may not have seen it.. You have to admit though, he does have a slight advantage over the rest of us owing to his occupation, but it is nice to see the true facts in full every so often: and very handy for cross referencing too..
Didn't see Stribling or Angott in the huge list of names he's just submitted.. Maybe because they've already been mentioned..
