What fighter's loss saddened you?

broke me in half when Tyson got Knocked Out by Douglas ...tyson had such heart as well despite the fact that he was losing and had swelling etc and bleeding he still did get up but didnt beat the count....also when he lost to Lewis...still tried gettin up...but credit to buster and lewis as well..

Ali getting beat up by Holmes is hands down the saddest moment I ever had boxingwise. This is the prototypical example of a fighter completely past it and still going for the big payday even though the body doesn't respond to the brain.

Seeing these things today (for example RJJ) still makes me feel bad, but never as bad as it did with Ali.

I was shocked but not saddened when guys like Tyson fell to Douglas and Tarver starched Jones Jr.

One fighter's loss that saddened me was when Arguello loss to Pryor, even though I liked both of them.

I was wondering what fighter you might have liked enough that you were actually moved to sadness when he lost?

Anytime a washed-up former great has his career end with a beat down saddens me. Especially when that beat-down is delivered by a fighter who wouldn't have belonged in the same ring with the former great when he was in his prime.
