Here is a new problem:
If you notice, the GPT-5 engine has replaced googles basic key word algo searching. It's reviewing the same info as before, only a much smarter browser. What this shows is how wrong and inaccurate google has been over the years. What we deemed as sourcing was more like "sources with no argument".
In addition, ever since browsing books with a semantic search I can see from books like the boxing register or other books, how boxrec is very often wrong or has alternate information.
Newspaper clippings, may be sources, but these are not accurate sources as well - by virtue of being newspaper clippings.
So when we want to argue "facts" good luck cause in the world of historical boxing a lot of everything is just hearsay and has little to no factual grounding at all. unfortunate as it is.
