    AT Top 10 Middleweights

Here we go. I see GGG is a hot topic again. Been done a million times, nut make that 1,000,001 times.

    Robby
    Greb
    Hagler
    Monzon
    Fitz

The 5 names above are excluded from the poll, since anyone understands they are already in. No Langford here because I don't know how many fights he actually had weighing 160 or less; with the clear caveat of course that he may very well be the GOAT of the entire game.

From below mark in the poll who is actually a top 10 AT MW. Ten contestants, but if you vote for more than 5, your vote goes right in shitter. The top 5 in this poll fill the remaining 5 vacancies. Then discuss.

Fill the 5 vacancies from the 10 listed below. If you cast more than 5 votes your vote is automatically discounted on my home counter, and affects the outcome only in that it is not counted.

    Golovkin
    Walker
    Fullmer
    Lamotta
    Ho'kins
    Ketchel
    Jackson
    Mike Gibbons
    Burley
    Flowers

Maybe you still can't find all of your top 10 even after the additional names.

Mind you, no one is listed in any kind of ranking order. Taking complaints. And votes.

The thing is, I have a strong feeling guys like this are actually better than more famous fighters that came after them due to the television screen. I can't prove it off hand - it's just a vague notion in my mind. The television screen is what makes fighter remembered, but really the resume should be viewed first and a keen emphasis on when and who they fought. "when" being just an important as "who".

I think Tiger should made the cut, he'd be in my top ten.

First fight was very good, I think it should have won FOTY over AJ/Klit, but Byrd's score card left a sour taste in people's mouth.
Second fight was also very good, though I had GGG winning it was close.
Third fight was rough, GGG was very old by then and I don't know if Canelo just felt bad for him or was not on his game, but not a good showing.

              - - Only the first was competitive.

              Canelo dominated 2 and 3.

                  - - Please, Canelo beat up Golovkin at ring center, knocking him back everytime he tried to penetrate for 10 rds.

Then Canelo coasted on his first fight style to walk around the ring while walking Golovkin into hard counters.

1st fight the closest that I had Canelo by a point, so I was thrillled to be so close by a point to the Draw. I feel like Vegas judging was at least honest which ain't always the case.
