  • Quick question for boxing history buffs on here

Does anyone have access to a large collection of boxing books?

and are they able to scan them into pdf form?

if so and if I can get enough of them - I will open a chat gpt project - uploading as many boxing books as possible - and get the chat gpt to break down all the books in concise form thats easy to digest - or simply just have a tool for use to consult any boxing related questions as the chat GPT these days can be brilliant at cross referencing and insite if used properly and given it has adequate data.

then I am sure we can come up with some really interesting stuff - uniquely

let me know if anyone is interested in this - I can set up a google drive if need be.

If this can be accomplished it will allow for

awesome comparisons across the board on many different tangents

number crunching (Bronson and Bundana will love this)

will point out contrast/ contradictions across sources and come up with alternative suggestions

    come up with averages

make key points and observations about style

the list goes on and on

The main thing I’ve learned with chat gpt is: once it has more data its literally mindblowing

first editions or baseline gpt will only spit out vague and often innacurate information

a full loaded gpt on a relevant topic however is a totally different story. Scholar gpt for example - has nearly half a million books uploaded into it on many topics (and growing every day) it can give some seriously insightful and sourced answers. Brilliant stuff

some of you are retired and probably would enjoy a layed back type of entertainment like this as well as being involved in it.

Ill message you later, just need them converted to pdf. Its a little bit of work, but you would obviously be apart of the project and would do a service to the boxing community
