The Worst Career Collapse After Surprisingly Being Knocked Out

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULK8lG5OAqA This is Lennox talking about being ko'd and how it affects the mind.
I ask, who was affected the worst by being Knocked out. Who after being k.o'd suddenly lost their mystique and looked really ordinary afterwards.
How badly does being k.o'd affect the attacking skills and instincts going forward?
And, has their been any boxer who after being k.o'd went to a new level and learned from it precious lessons about boxing?

    Livingstone Bramble.

    Rosario L KO 2/15

I don't know if Bramble suffered a confidence collaspe or maybe was just exposed for being a very strong kid with limited skills.

He was one fight away from a mega fight with Camacho. Life changing money.

He never came back from the defeat. Winning the easy ones, but not able to reenter the top tier again (after multiple tries).

His fall was fast and complete.

      Benny Leonard 0-1-0
      Henry Armstrong 0-1-0

Joking aside --> Joe Louis is that guy.

Roy Jones stoppage loss to Danny Green was pretty much the end of his career that went on too long afterward.

Yeah, that was definitely the end but I think the Tarver loss is more in keeping with this thread.

How well did he recover after Tarver? No doubt some of the sheen was gone but do you think it slowed down his subsequent performances or did he rise past it?

Was his first KO loss (Tarver) the game changer?

I think the first Tarver KO loss exposed Jones inability to adapt as his reflexes slowed down. In his prime he could slip, duck, lean back from punches and relied on his speed and reflexes for defense. As he got older he didn’t or couldn’t adapt his style and could no longer fight on the ropes. Tarver established the blueprint to beat him.

                - - Roy of the modern era for sure. Touted as the greatest ever, he could've retired with that mantle after Ruiz. He didn't need the 2bit Tarver as he was talking retirement during Ruiz with his trainer noting his reflexes were fading.
