I know what videos you are referring to. But at no point does he “brag” about being a “rich coward.”
The video evidence is on you tube, it's irrefutable. The little dummy is actually boasting about being a coward. In a tone of arrogance, like OK OK they're right I am a coward but it made me super rich to be a coward. It's unbelievable stuff. Floyd just got tired of living the lie and fessed up. Cowardice is what made him rich.

Cotto was unbeaten when he faced Pacquiao. Floyd ducked the unbeaten Cotto unification on HBO in 2008 because Haymon could not rig the fight because Arum promoted Cotto then. Floyd only fought Cotto later on after Cotto had lost and lost value and leverage. Cotto got a career high payday vs Floyd and soft sparred, he did not try to kill Floyd as he did vs Pac. He clearly held back, clear as day to see if you watch it closely. Cotto wasn't allowed to hurt or beat Floyd.

        That’s a fantastic story.

But to my point, didn’t Pacquiao refuse to fight the rematch with Cotto unless it was at a catchweight while Floyd fought him at 154?

Claiming that Cotto threw the Floyd fight has absolutely no merit. Beating Floyd would have been huge for his career. Makes no sense.

Cotto couldn't get the payday if he beat Floyd. So to get paid a career high payday for sparring Floyd makes a lot of sense. You don't understand the establishment would never let Floyd lose, they made too much money off the show.

Cotto never demanded any rematch with Pacquiao.

              - - Manny/Cotto was at welter. Manny only had the one fight at 154 vs Margarito with Manny @144 and Marg #150.

Cotto took l'l floydy on a short notice emergency fight so l'l floydy could shore up his finances before incarceration.

Cotto wanted no part of Manny again, but he did take on Canelo who beat him.

Are you saying if Cotto beat Floyd, they would hold Cotto's purse?

That's a pretty ridiculous statement to make with zero proof.

Pacquaio and Cotto discussed a rematch but Pacquiao wanted a catch weight.

Pacquiao Open To A Rematch With Cotto, But At A Catch Weight

Pacquaio wanted to fight for Cotto's 154lb title, but at a catchweight of 150. He obviously didn't want to fight him at the full limit.

Floyd took the fight at the full limit.

Whatever spin or explanation you want to give, it just is what it is.

Floyd avoided the 140 version of Cotto and also waited until Cotto was softened up by Margarito and Manny.
