provide the details of Dempsey's distrust of Barry before the fight and Gibson threatening to walk.
Yes Dempsey was up fast yet Barry still got in a 'one' count. Um?

The time keeper being at four is common knowledge so I ain't going to prove that to you. Too easy to find it if you wanted to.

Now the manner in which Billy Gibson, Arnold Rothstein, and Max 'Boo Boo' Hoff forced Barry on Dempsey is a complicated and interesting story that lives in the shadows, so I will try to research it out again.

I need a couple of days to assemble the proof. Please don't brush off my effort with 'Oh, that's conjecture' again.

It was a slick move created by "The Brain" Rothstein.

How can you be sure Barry got a one count? It's a silent film? When he steps between how can you be sure that movement isn't to separate the two fighters?

He waves his arm up and down, but Dempsey is up so quick that Barry then jumps between the fighters for no reason. He never directs Tunney to a neutral corner in any manner.

So on the KD watch Barry immediately raise his arm way over his head (to begin a count). Not something one does when breaking up a clinch.

Second, why does he even bother getting between the fighters. There is no mandatory eight count?

Research it out again? Where did you research it out the first time?

                  - - At the 10 sec mark Tunny is completely incoherent, but recovers after this point 4 sec later as he rises.

Same deal with the sedated Tyson KD of Buster Douglas decades later by a Class D Dubious Mexican Ref of drafted by DKing for Japan.

What you think is in the unreal realm.

If Tunney could have gotten to his feet sooner and safely, he would have. If he gets up before the ten count Dempsey is on him and going for the finish. I wouldn’t say he was robbed because he himself forgot the rule to go to a neutral corner, but I do believe the long count may have changed the outcome. Same with the Tyson/Douglas fight.

                      - - The neutral corner rule was new and I doubt was even marked in white with the corners for the fighters marked in red and blue.

Hence the controversy over Manny/l'l floydy when Vegas suits altered the scorecards after the fact that showed Manny winning. The fight was so poorly thought out and incompetently held that it generated Hundreds of Mil$ of collective lawsuits.

An administrative error on the official scorecard used in the fight ignited conspiracy theorists into suggesting that Pacquiao should have won the bout. All three judges awarded the fight to Mayweather, but in every column where they mark their scores at the end of the round, he is labelled as being in the red corner. That is the point that galvanized certain boxing fans into suggesting the fight may have been awarded to the wrong fighter because Mayweather was actually in the blue corner. It was Pacquiao who was in the red corner.

Time for boxing fans to face facts, boxing is an unholy amalgamation of Crooks and Dolts and forever shall it be as before...
