I have expressed similar sentiments here prior. I don't honestly even view Sullivan as a queensberry champion let alone world. Simply never won that title. Tied the Englishman using LPR rules with gloves and was given a title for it. That's without the accusation Chuckles was paid off.

To each their own, but I do agree with the Buffalo.

Dunno why the forum adds characters. I've tried to limit it. I'm sure it happens to you guys too. Promise I don't even know how to type out some of those symbols!
    - - Guinness and Boxrec both recognize John L for his title fights that included the bareknucks title.

U are as nothing, zer0, nada, zip to the boxing world.

Do not ever be offended by me March II. As my wife will tell ya, I know next to nothing. Besides.....I retired from the keyboard warrior circuit decades ago. And really, it was the Buffalo staff writer I take issue with.

Now go get your shine box!
      Ha ha ha! Love it,
"Hey willow i just got out and i'm having a drink and i'm just breaking your balls a bit and you're getting all angry.
KEEP HIM HERE, KEEP HIM HERE!"
Now march you said some things you were a little out of order yourself.

        Just my two cents,
        Willow The Wisp

        I am pathetically petty!

But really it's more to do with the fact I've found no better way to get people engaged. If you make it easy for them to give you the brush-off, they do it. Not a single one of these newish threads from me voices any new points or facts I hadn't prior. The difference is me being even more of a **** about it. The engagement is increased. Ultimately, what this highlights, beyond the fandom's emotional attachment to narratives left for them by conmen who are such weak historians they failed to give any competent explanation of what a champion even is and such weak sports writers and mechanics minded men they believed in script professional wrestling like it is real.

Beyond that, it highlights I am brash but not actually as petty as some others and it is their petty little ***** squabbling that causes page after page of engagement while nothing of any use is said or furthered.

If we are to gage my work by how much you lot say to me, and throw in my face your ****** fantasy fights spiraling into an old man pissing contest that brings **** all no proof for pages, then, I might in my brashness, show I know how to force engagement.

Here I have an extra post that would not exist if I continued to simply eat the pop shots. Being petty, small, and willing to argue anything with anybody has afforded me useless engagement that's nothing to do with the subject at all ... ... ... rather a lot like the rest of everyone else. And so in terms used here, valuable postage.

Ultimately, when I say i love you guys that is not hyperbolic. I miss yous when I am away. I'd miss Willow often if we never chatted again. I have no real criticism for the man. I appreciate him. Pep was a shock to me. Bronson sometimes gets a little bit hot but I think he knows under it all I do have love and respect for him. It may be my goal to piss them off for their response but it is not my goal to not speak to them. I step to you least, bil, but that is only because you give me the least ammo. I was uncomfortable AF stepping to Jab because I really don't know how he'll take it.

Willow, I'm betting he either actually has some tasty info for me OR will just say STFU ***** and move on. Promise if I notice, think, become insecure they might ignore list me or worse, leave the forum to avoid me, I will back off. That's not my goal but it is a careful thing to provoke.

Great post. I take boxing aficionados where (and how) I find them, Marchegiano. If I discuss world history, engineering, classic automobiles, IT, global politics, faith constructs, earth sciences, anthropology....Baseball, football....not too difficult finding a conversation with an individual who can lead or hold their own. Boxing....it's tougher. Boxing history? Tougher still.
That's what I love about being involved with the Hall of fame. Boxing is always the discussion (except the autographs to sell on eBay people). A village full of knowledge.
It's that way on these boards except it's free to get in.
But we have some good ones. You are one such.
You can call me out if you think I should be. I'm cool.
          I enjoy everybody here.
(Probably just made a few hard boiled posters barf. What can you do?)
