Floyd Patterson versus Alexandre Usyk who wins and why?

Patterson is an interesting match up to me... And I just want to address an argument some might use right away: One can say things like "Usyk weighed what Foreman did..." yada yada... IMO it does not mean much to me with respect to arguing that Usyk is "big" for a heavyweight on average. Usyk is built like a smaller fighter who put muscle on his frame, he does not have the bone structure, the hands, neck shoulder size that make him "big." Not to me. This will become relevant later when I "weigh in" pardon the pun.

With that said Usyk is bigger than Patterson and as I have noted before, Usyk, like Loma, is a closet bully who likes to get physical when he can. Watch the Hunter or Bellew fight for confirmation of this POV.

Patterson would be the faster, more professionally experienced man... How does this fight look? I will weigh in later...

    - - Usyk been Gold Medal Heavy in the same Gold Medal Division Frazier and Foreman was in.

Floyd was a blown up middleweight and Ali a blown up LH, but saying that, it's like U was born yesterday for the umpteenth time today...

          - - Yeah, we know alcoholic obsession U show symptamatic of acoholism. Shame that U loved ones must suffer so, but plain facts is this is an historical boxing forum.

Gold Medal Heavy Usyk KOs Gold Medal Middle Patterson inside 3 rounds if it could ever be sanctioned, in private I'd guess.

and Cruiser Unified and Heavy Unified Professional Usyk replicates the deed not that it could ever be sanction.

Valhalla would never sanction such a travesty, but there U go again wif U alky obsession...

Ali was never a blown up lightheavyweight. Amateur lightheavy is 178lbs. Professional 175lbs. Therefore since we're talking about them as professionals he never was at lightheavyweight and blew up. In fact, I don't think Ali was wver under the original Cruiserweight limit.

Patterson would have the speed advantage. If he can box like he did in the first Ali fight where he was older, smaller and struggling with a lower back injury, he may be able to see the distance with Usyk. But I think Usyk is a bridge too far and would have the advantages in all other aspects aside from hand speed. Usyk is also far better than Johansson who held a win over Patterson by KO. I think Patterson just wasn't the same after the Liston losses. They took something out of him.

Usyk is much taller and has a much better reach and is about 20 pounds heavier. He is " big " next to Patterson. I think Usyk southpaw style and excellent boxing would win the day over a much smaller Patterson.

At his best Patterson had excellent combination punching, good feet, etc. Here is a nice one... Moore versus Patterson.

I am inclined to think this would be a barn burner. At their respective bests... Patterson ad really good head movement and so does Usyk... Usyk being a bit bigger might make the difference.
