RIP Boxer Dingaan Thobela, Age 57

I'm not too familiar with this guy. Does anyone know about this fighter and his career? I haven't heard about him. Maybe someone that has can chat me and the forum up about him and how good he was? Former boxing world champion dies aged 57 (msn.com)

Good fighter. I remember watching him on either USA Tuesday night fights or ESPN Thursday night fights back in the early or mid 90's. I would rate him a shade below someone like Greg Haugen. World class, but not next level. RIP.

Good stuff, thanks man. Now THAT's what I call having great boxing history knowledge. But it was kind of you to say I did in the past too. I just sit under the learning tree that is Boxing Scene's History Section.
